Located within a days drive from half of the US, this nationally protected farm and historic manor was once part of a 25,000 acre land grant from President George Washington to General Isaac Shelby following the Revolutionary War. Isaac Shelby was instrumental in forming the state of Kentucky from the state of Virginia, was a signer on the Kentucky Constitution, and later became Governor Shelby, the 1st and 5th Governor of Kentucky.
